| Pretty, but not so useful | |
| This salt-and-pepper shaker set is, indeed, lovely. With its relief of trailing vine patterns, and its flare shape, the shaker set certainly adds style to one's table. This shaker set, however, does possess a couple of qualities which I consider less than desirable. On the top of each of the shakers are holes through which a toothpick can easily slide. Because of their size, one may inadvertantly pour too much salt (or pepper) onto one's dish. Also, there is only a small hole (smaller than a dime) on the underside of each of the shakers. When filling the shakers, it is quite difficult to position it so that the salt (or pepper)does not begin pouring out of the top-side. | |
